I bought one of the fiberglass hoods Whoopass racing produced several years ago. I've finally got the car in the shop for paint and i'm considering opening the hood scoop and side vents. I've debated on just opening them up or putting a stainless grid over them. The shop just wants to paint them black.   Are they functional in any respect? How much debris would collect if they were wide open. Any images out there of these types of modifications? Sorry, but searches weren't giving me any
