Hey all, I'm working on my girl;s 02 Montero, 3.5. I broke into it yesterday and got her torn down and I'm working on reassembly, but I can't quite get the belt to line up correctly. I'm straight up TDC on the mark on the crank, but I'm split a tooth on each cam gear. I've rotated the motor probably 12 times and it always falls right back to where it sits now. Am I better to have the cam trailing the crank or leading it, or am I missing something somewhere? She does do a bit of highway driving,

My turbo screeches after first start up when the motor is not yet to operating temp. It quits after a minute or so of driving and won't do it again unless the car sits awhile before start up and drive again. I'm thinking the turbo bearings are shot but wanted to get advice from the pros....
