I really appreciate this site and have loved learning about these cars even with their temperamental ways. So, I replaced all the battery side fuse links will replace the other green links behind them. Cleaned the three - 4 main grounds on the engine bay including the one that runs to the main neg. battery cable. I cleaned the egr valve and then this is where things went weird. Car was running fine and all of the sudden it shut off I disconnected the fuel line off the tb to check if pump is working, also replace the injector clips, cap,rotor,plugs and wires,also put a new msd coil so im getting spark in all plugs. I pulled the ovcp pipe off and had my friend crank it over and no gas is spraying out off either injectors. So i think there is no power going to the injectors. I don't know what else will cause this problem. thank

Okay guys, so my Quest is up and running. It idles beautifully and accelerates nicely. Looking for an 88 or 89 knock box WITH clip if anyone can help a brotha out. Anyways, my problem IS: Right when I turn the key to ON the temperature gauge spikes PAST the HOT line IMMEDIATELY.
