Are these things accurate in diagnosing problems on cars?

I've got the chance to buy a couple tv's that have broken screens. Says their 3 year old has a good right arm, lol. One's a 58" Sanyo, the other, a 60" Sony. I've dine a little looking online for parts but haven't found much. Where would I go for replacement screens? Would it be worth it to try to fix them?
