Going to menards to pick up a pellet stove for the garage ,driving me nuts walking by the car every day and not being able to get to the seamingly endless list and pile of new parts that need to get done... cabin feaver setting in some too lol

Lately Ive been getting white smoke out the tailpipe on cold startup. After a test drive I popped the hood and noticed smoke whisping off of the hotside of the turbo, pulled the pipe coming off the turbo to the intercooler and there was more than the usual thin layer of oil. What Im not sure is if it my vavles are leaking into the turbo or the turbo itself leaking. And if the turbo does need to be rebuilt would buying a used one off of here be cheaper than having this one rebuilt?
