so now that there is a way to use the dsm cas for timing, what reasons are there for going standalone when you could simply buy an eprom dsm ecu and dsmlink.   im wanting to use a haltech for my build, but i can get the dsmlink for about half the price. are there any huge advantages of a standalone over the dsmlink?
