WARNING: SDS Crank trigger install
By Ed87TSI,
For those of you planning to to use a crank trigger setup for your MPI conversion DO NOT USE YOUR OLD STOCK PULLEY! Do yourself a favor and buy a SOLID pulley. I found out the hard way. Due to age and design my Old stock pulley flexed and the mags ate up my hall sensor. Now I need a new pulley(already on the way from Conicelli, Thanks Mike!), mags and a hall sensor. It will be a week or two before m caris up and running again. Had I known these pulleys were avaiable at the time I would have defi
Head off electrical gremlins
By SQF,
As with any car over 10 years old the C/S are prone to some common electrical "issues".
Here are some main problems and how to fix them. This FAQ is more to repair or prevent problems than it is to troubleshoot them.
Area of concern #1....
The fusible links next to the battery. These links will corrode and burn out or loose conductivity over time. Replacing the fried ones and cleaning up the dirty ones will head off future troubles. There are two sets of links. The first set is right
Reduce wheel hop and tranny vibration

By Guest,
You know those bushing's that are on each side of the crossmember that
the torque tube attatches to . Well , if you replace them fill them up with
998 black silicone let dry overnight and press them in . They have alot of
hollow space in them allowing alot of movement . This will reduce the slapping of the crossmember to the body. The tranny mount also has alot of open area , filling this
with 998 silicone will reduce engine vibration at the stick....
