Running w/out MAS for certain 86's
By GREENSTAR,
Ok, not sure if anyone has posted this but for all of you 86's out there you might want to try it out! I believe there is a certain time frame in 86 to where you can do this. So unhook the electrical plug for the MAS and start the engine. It should choke a little then the idle should pick right back up. Then take her out for a spin, you should notice a jump in PSI, if it chokes and runs like crap then you know you can't do it. But if it runs better, remove the MAS from the air can and just

By DanMitsu,

be for warned, its something that myself an pumped, talked about a while back. The new clips that are sent with the kit, to hold the injecters in.. cant hold alot of pressure. Im running a t4 , an at 24 psi. it blows the injecter out. An if your not prepared for it. you will have one hell of a fire on your hands. Because at wot , the boost creeps back down. What spring rates is everyone running?

By AustinTSI,
I'm putting in my Ground Control coil overs and I'm concerned about the sping rates. The front are 380# and the rear are 250#. Both are the 8" springs. I'm thinking about trading them in and getting 500# for the front and 300# for the rear but also getting the 6" ones so that I have more play with raising and lowering. The sleeves don't seem to let you drop the car that much. By the way, I'm building the car for the 400HP mark.
What does everyone think?
Thanx, Dave.
