I've noticed an incredible number of posts MOVED: from the Perf./Mods forum to the Virt. Mechanic
I wonder if we should separate the HOW DO I...MODS from the HOW DO I...FIXES??

Permanent retail post on the for sale board

How bout this. A permanent post at the top of the for sale board. Only the mods can change it and it will have a parts (and accessories)list and where to get the stuff. So people dont have to dig through old posts if they want to find, lets say Kellys #" exhaust. or a cam gear, or a T shirt. Also would maybe know the rcomended shops where t get a rebuild kit , or where to pick up certain pistons. I know some of us are really into the 2.6 in out conquests, but Ive been plagued with constant spun bearings for the past 5 years and the dilema of MPI & DOC. So, I have been looking for a alternative to the 2.6 and I found out the 2.4 from a Dodge D50 or Mighty Max might (95% chance) bolt up to our tranny with no mods!!!! (US D50/M Max Trannys have the same part numbers as the Australian 2.0 / 2.6s) Im pretty sure the US and Aussy Starquest Trannys are Identical.

Someone order a blown head gasket?
Hey guys. Well my venture awhile back has lead me to beleive in "copper seal" for our cars. I am runnign a Victor Reinz (NAPA) Head gasket . The 13 dollar one. And copper seal. I've heard LOTSA LOTSA people not like these gaskets because they are prone to blowing like hell. We'll I know for a fact I have ran a consistant 20+ psi (big head gasket problem = big boost) and on occasion probably 25 or so. My gauge stops at 20. I can do this everyday If I
