Well I had a hell of a time chasing a short in the engine. It melted 2 stock throttal cables to there housing. The set up is the magna with an sds. I grounded the fuel rail and the short went away, wierd. I was out of spare throttal cables so I had to have one custom made. The mesurements are as follows.   Housing= 20" Inner cable= 7" 3/4"+ 20"(Housing length) total inner cable length is  27" 3/4"   The housing is a little long  I think it can be reduced about 2".
