Well i tested out roller rockers on the montero. But i only have 4 of them so at first i tryed them on the exhaust side, which ran good till about 4k or so, where the valves would float, the stock springs where not good enof too work on the rollers, i changed it over so they where only on the intake side and well it crankes like it has almost no compression and it idles at 10 vac, with them on the intake side it makes ALOT of over lap which isnt good, but in theory with them only on the exhaust

It's ALIVE!   My sds 4f  magna intake set up fired up on the first crank!   Idle is decent but looks like it can get better! Then I took it around the block without even programming it. Drove decent out of the box. Well,  I'll be taking it easy for a thousand miles while the engine breaks in. j5

Today I made a short shifter out of an extra shifter I had laying around.  I did some math and figured out what throw I wanted.  I wanted to keep the stock length shifter but I wanted half the throw so the math told me i needed to extend the length from pivot to pivot by about an inch.   http://filebox.vt.edu/users/maperez/Starion/shiftermod.JPG   so you need to remove the shifter from your tranny. seperate the two plates at the bottom of the shifter and space them out.  then you need to cut t
