Lizzord30
Well i tested out roller rockers on the montero. But i only have 4 of them so at first i tryed them on the exhaust side, which ran good till about 4k or so, where the valves would float, the stock springs where not good enof too work on the rollers, i changed it over so they where only on the intake side and well it crankes like it has almost no compression and it idles at 10 vac, with them on the intake side it makes ALOT of over lap which isnt good, but in theory with them only on the exhaust side it will make less over lap and deff incresses the lift some. So if anyone wants too go with roller rockers i would highly segest some HD valve springs and dont try too go with only half set on the intake side. Wish i had HD springs so i could see what it can do, but guess i am back too stock rockers and cam.
89onaquest
the extra speed(so to say) the roller rockers introduce, almost requires 50-60 Lb over stock springs be used. But it raises the red line a few hundered.
