need cv axles really bad can anyone help me

I bought my self a welder for christmas.it's just a flex core wire welder bt i use a mig at work and am pretty good with it so that will work for my needs. now can go back and bust out some of the fg matte stuff and replace with metal.A bit of a back-track but worth it. Is there an aluminum flux core wire availble? What gauge sheet steel is best touse for floor and external body panels? 18ga,22ga?

I just bought the car a week ago. I was only going to repair a few things inside the engine bay, get it running reliably, and drive it. But, I disassembled the airbox and lid completely, painted and cleaned everything, and modified the front of the air box.   So everything inside the eninge bay was dirty as hell, but airbox, lid and accordian were spiffy clean. This is when I made the decision to do everything in the engine bay. Even though I have only been able to drive the car around f
