I wish there is a feature separating all 1986, 1987, 1988/89 Starquest models since these models are different from each other, especially the 1986 models. It would be much easier and simpler to understand all work, mods, problems, etc by knowing that all cars under this particular forum are either 86, 87 or 88/89 models.  Ie, if under 86 Starquest forum, we read a lot about car not starting, then we easily isolated the 86 models as having that particular problem.  If mods are done, then it wi

ok i have a 88 starion with the SHP n theyre shot....i picked up some tokicos for the back but i still need the front...anybody have a spare non-adj set of front struts???? but my original question was what should i replace down in there while i have the struts out?? strut tower bushing?? somebody help my poor starion  

I have an sds4f and using new stock knock sensor. Trying to figuer out the knock sense and timing and retard curves I think it is hearing engine noise. What are your settings?   So far I have knock sense @ 24,  retard setting @ 5*,  rpm limit @ 5k. Seems like it hears engine noise @ 4500revs.   Boost retard settings at   Psi/Rtd       0/0 5/10 15/25   RPM Timing Rpm/deg   500/10 2000/20 3500/33 4000/34 7000/34   Map tweaked and rpm fuel tweaked also.
