possible to use 2.4L distributor with MPI?
By JamesR,
The 2.4L distributor on my 1990 D50 has a built in crank angle sensor and is basically the same size as the starquest distributor. The ditributor gear and distributor shaft is the same size as the starquest distributor. The only difference is that the distributor is slightly longer, so you'll need about a 1/8" spacer to make it work. I'm not using it, but I just thought this might be useful for someone else.

It`s alive!!!!
By RF600,
I have finally rebuilt the engine and got it put in. She runs great. Only a few mods done. 1g mas, hard pipes, silicone couplers, 88-9 ECU, 52mm tb and ported intake and mixer housing, BS elim kit, silicone vac hose, Steel braided fuel, coolant, and oil line. The picture is the balance shaft the went out from lack of oil. Not my doing. I bought the car that way. So keep your oil leaks in check. %5BIMG%5Dhttp%3A//i118.photobucket.com/albums/o88/rf600/IMG_0251_edited.jpg[/img]http://i118.photobuck
