I just sold the '88 I picked up since the engine needed to be rebuilt.   I need a car that runs, or can run easily, for $500 or less. I don't care what shape it is in as long as it is decent mechanically. I'd prefer a manual trans. Other than that, I'll consider anything. Please be close to Detroit or have a car that would make the ride back here.

I recently purchased an 87 starion w/115,000 miles for $500. the car just needs a new head gasket. The car has not been started in about 6 to 8 months. basically I wanted to get any input on where I would need to start off when getting the car preped before trying to start it up and of course after I get the new gasket replaced. Everything is intact and the engine compartment just needs to be cleaned due to the car sitting in a dirt lot.   thanks mike

My front two inner tie rods are worn, and bad... (car shakes badly around 40-50mph)   so i need two NEW/ or GOOD   also,   My rear axles are a bit worn too, and the left CV boot is torn :? would it be better to get new remanufactured axles, or just boots? i think thats all thats wrong wit my suspension...?
