I'm interested in swapping out my analog dash out of my 88 and replacing it w/ a digital dash from an 83.   Is this as simple as pull-replace or is it much dirtier than that? ECU problems? Rewiring needed? Please let me know!

Have miscellaneous parts for an '88 Conquest/Starion, including an '83 hood, includes scoops and vents, in excellent condition, just needs a good wet sanding. hood was media blasted, then black primer/sealed, then flat black paint on top to protect/seal the primer. the top coat could use a little sanding to make perfect, but there's plenty of paint on it to work with. Guys, my red coil is arching like crazy. I have the malory ignition box from FIP and it is making my coil arc. you can see and hear it. My red coil is pretty much new. Do i need a better coil or did I do something wrong. What are you guys with the mallery or msd running? Thanks
