    So here is what I have been working on lately. My daily driver truck, 86 F350 6.9L Diesel automatic. I just got it back on the road today, my torque convertor blew apart inside.     Source for overhaul kits?

    Anyone have any info on where to get and how much?   Our local tranny shop gets kits for between $50 - $100 depending on what type of car it is.   I will be doing a refresh soon so maybe we could come up with the best place for the parts?

    For those who haven't followed along. Frame off restoration, every part is new or rebuilt, original 304 motor, Dana 20 rear, T150 3 speed trans, all the non-load bolts are stainless, every last one. All load bolts are true grade 8 zinc plated.     hello members,   i am about 70% done with my new project, adjustable cam gear.   this sample gear was cnc machined using t6061 billet aluminum. i know stock gear is not aluminum. i think it is mild steel. do you know if t6061 aluminum is strong enough material to be used for this cam gear?   please check out the pictures and give me any suggestions to make it a better product for starquest. your help will be greatly appreciated!   thanks, 101PROPOSE@VERIZON.NET   http://www.mookeeh.com/starqu
