For those who are following along, the 1st stage was a complete valve job with the j/v eliminator kit. That was completed last month but the rings couldn't stand up to the test, which I figured, so now its short block time. The plan is for a complete tear down of the block with Pure Seal rings, forged pistons, turned crank, balance shaft elimination, Fidanza flywheel, Centerforce Dual Friction clutch, ... $200 for 7's and 8's.   Dirty, but only 55k, and tires are in good shape, one is a little low. will make perfect polishers.   Go to the restoration page and clink on the white car link, they are on that car in the picture.   You can't even buy tires for that nowadays, so no low balling... what's the absolute coldest i can apply engine enamel ?   can claims 60 degrees, but i'm rather certain that temperature is far off   i could always heat up the cans, but how junk will the paint come out ?
