I can't get the companion flange nut off with breaker bar and cheater...I'm soaking it with pb blast right now...question is if i can't still break it loose can I use an impact gun without damaging it??

I have a 95 Voyager se rally. It has the 3.3 engine and the trans has a switch to turn off the over drive. The trans was rebuilt and shifts great, but may have 40-50k on it. The motor runs good but the van is other wise shot.   My sister gave me a 2000 Dodge Caravan. also with the 3.3 engine. She had the valve body on the trans replaced due to a fluid leak. It is throwing a code for torque converter solenoid circuit. I believe the code started after the valve body replacement, but i do not know

Judging by the threads I found searching around here I figured I was SOL when my windshield broke recently, but I just went to a local glass shop here in Ridgecrest and they were able to order and install one for $250. Asked them if they could get more and they said, "sure, there are plenty of them, why?"   What gives? Only available in CA or something?
