need tps

I finished up my magna conversion this weekend and tried to start it up but I am loseing my rpm signal while cranking. It will give me a a quick signal of about 120 rpm then flips back over to show not cranking? I have confirmed all wiring is correct and in working order. Running MS2 version 3 and using edis. Today I was at Canadien Tire Store in the automotive section and saw some Blue light bulbs, I bought them not knowing if they could work in my fog lights. Based on the voltage. They are 194's all of them. the originals are 168's will they work?   Searching the forums, I found that "JustPaus" Had worked and offered them, So I kept reading and found that led's can't be used unless the flasher are changed.
