Has anyone put a chevy 4.3 vortex in a conquest. I found one cheap. I thought about the 4.3 with later adding a paxton supercharger. Is there an adapter plate to fit this motor to the stock trans? I'd like to stay with the 5spd. Would this be a good swap or a waste of time?

Butt connectors with solder in them and heat shrink outside = simple, solid, quick, even waterproof connections.   Awesome inventive idea. Not sure how long these have been around, probably several years, but I recently was turned on to these are MUCH easier than friggin' soldering wires together under the dash.
