Have a clunk in the steering when getting close to full lock, mostly happens when turning to the right. I have D2 coilovers installed that I welded myself. I only have put 5k miles on the car in 5 years and I cant remember if it did it before the coilover install. I have checked my welds, they look good. So I have been thinking of running rear non SHP wheels on the front without having to roll fenders,  limit steering, and reduce scrub. Some say they have done this with no issues and others with the same size tire say it rubs everywhere.
