  15. Good luck with the swap...I know the Taurus SHO was actually faster than the Mustangs from the same production year, but I prefer turbos! You can find the ketchup chips anywhere usually made by Old Dutch.Sometimes a relative will bring some down when they visit. Jerry L.
  16. I lived on Commercial Dr. and 2nd Ave...back in the day they would close off about a mile of Commercial Dr for an Italian Festival once every year. I really miss the Ketchup chips also! Good luck with your swap...have you considered keeping the original motor and going MPI...lots of members here with fast cars with MPI. Jerry L.
  17. Hi and welcome to the site. Good luck with your plans for the engine swap. I grew up in Vancouver...sure miss going to Stanley Park and getting good chinese food in Chinatown! Jerry L.
  18. You should put a relay between your power source and the fans otherwise you may end up burning up the switch that controls the wiper motor or possibly the power wire to the wiper motor if it is not thick enough(heavy gauge wire) to handle the current draw from the fans. Jerry L.
  19. Nice list of cars you got...and your friends 323 gtx is super rare! I picked up a Conquest that had a 4g63 swap done already a few years ago that had jumped the timing belt and bent some of the valves. The head was pulled off when I got it and one day I will get to fixing it! Jerry L.
  20. Car is looking good.I've had several 1g DSMs but I like the way the 2gs look I bought my '95 Eclipse GSX back in 1996 with 21K miles on it and it now has 90K miles, but needs a paint job now. I picked up a '92 talon FWD turbo for $300 about a year ago with a blown head gasket, but haven't had time to work on it. Also picked up a bone stock '87 Starion about the same time that I have been working on that had been sitting for 5 years. My other Mitsubishi is a 2003 Evo 8,but clutch and turbo went out earlier this year. Jerry L.

  23. If you don't have spark at the plugs, you may have a bad knock box...timing may be off...bad injectors or corroded contacts. Jerry L.
