Did u end up getting your motor from JDM Engine Depot?? and was it just the coil connectors that were bad or was everything in poor condition?

A lil Teaser of it Running... I took it out For its First spin with dry pavment! WOW did that Feel good! I been building this car for like 9 years! and Hoping to finaly bolt my front bumper on and Actualy Drive it and Get sidweays a lil

precision Turbo 67/65 billet wheel and ball bearing... Finally Got it bolted on today! Unfortunately it was raining most of the day So the test ride was just a slight Blip Of the Throttle! But I Cant wait to Get on it! More pix and some Videos Soon! It sounds so good!

Nice! i was trying to fig out a way to do my plates as well! did it to my daily(Denali) What bulbs did u end up going with? and did u basicly cut wires and Solder in new sockets?

OKKK I am one of the First guys to say a car needs bigger wheels!.. My daily driver is a Denali on 26's!(just for summer) But 20's on a starion is WAYYYYY to BIG!!! I live in WI. I Drove in to a local car wash a couple years back and saw What i think were 20" spokes on a starion! I was laughing my tail off cause it look awfull! Dont ruin our cars! 20's r way to big!! 19's on the starquest r way big enuf! any bigger u r going to be A Donk starion! My 26 cents!

Ok thanx.. I have to re check my thermostat housing because i had to modify mt stock 88 one(i have hurd if u can get and 83 its angled better?). and i don't remember if it still on there or not.. and the blue return line is one i think i may have welded shut because it was not needed i will have to go out to the garage n do some investigating! i just didn't want to have to run a line across the motor in front.. but doesn't look like much other choice

well my New ball baring PTE Turbo came in today.. and need to run a coolant line to it.. and I am curious where people are taken there's from? i have a tubular exhaust manifold and mpi.. i had a t/3 t/4 before but no requirement for coolant. so just would like opinions(pics if possible) to see what my best options are! Thanx all

nice Video! Yes i have a great tuner.. Lots of my buddys here in WI are all driving some serious HP cars! mine with the broken turbo was bring up the rear! now i have a feeling once in and tuned that wont be the case u asked about the cam these are the specs for it. The Franken Banshee: INT: 280° .415 Lift EXH: 274° .407 Lift Lobe Center Separation 111.5° Intake lobe is degreed to 107°

motor is .40 over, tubular manifold, MPI, hawk ecu, New head from DAD(with the works), adjusa head gasket, franken banchie cam(from Tim ), 720 cc injectors, bigger inter-cooler, I am looking to put down no less then 400 to the wheels! i would like 500 but i not sure how it will hold up? Was talking with a buddy who owns a speed shop. He was saying i may want to get a smaller exhaust housing so i will spool faster.. I don't plan on Revving this motor to the moon.. from what i read our motors r not to hot passed 7 or 7500k

No my new/old turbo is Toast i had a garret t/3 t/4 50 trim and i ben having issues with car since i got it runing.. the turbo was part of the build i got from xtreemboost.. was supposed to be a New turbo.(which i have major doubts it was now) I have about 1,500 miles on it and its Completely garbage!! the compresses wheel started banning on the housing.. the exhaust wheel was coming apart. I was not to happy! I have not even got my car above 12 psi. and trust me there was no lack of oil cause when the turbo desided to let go it was a FULL out Crop Duster! any one else is the starquest community have this turbo or simmilar? i am curious how the spool up is? i am a lil concerned on power band??

I'm glad that lots of other people are on the same page as me! I'm sure the guy who posed those wheels wont hate all of us! just me for starting this thread. As far as busting my balls for my spelling and use of Abbreviated words. I cant spell at all and everyone I know gives me s*** for it, so i am OK with it The short use of words is from the thousands of texts I send! sry dude!

I not sure about everyone else.. well actual disappointed in so many is the right words.. The term "MINT" is thrown around way to much! I am sick of people selling stuff with the tag line "MINT".. Or Perfect! or NEW.. "MINT" is in PERFECT SHAPE! or NEW shape.. Like right out of the package! Or how about a 9 out of 10 like a scratch on something that's practicly un noticable to the eye! Wheels, Cars, Paint, it never ends.. Sorry i have to rant about this but I got excited n saw a set of SHP wheels for sale Says MINT! I look at pix.. wheels got bends in them and blems on the wheels. THATS NOT "MINT"!!!!! Sorry just drives me nuts n wanted to share this with others!! :mad:

So i was up in WI. Dells for Auto-motion Car show ( no i dint take the car ) and I got a text from a guy i know asking if i was in town(Milwaukee) n just raced n STI.. I said no why? He said cause the Black starquest he saw just WAXED a STI on Blumound road just off hwy 100. Just curious if any one in WI knows who it is or if u r on here if u see this? plate was 1's n LL's or something he said he didn't catch the plate to well
