Its just easier to ask I have started working on my small collection of cars so the first is one that I aqired in a trade white 87 with a rebuilt motor with 10k on that motor i think. So first some history: the car was baught by a young guy and driven daily till all the timing guides fell apart and ended up into the pan. It happend on start up, he towed it home and repaired the problem and the car would not start up again. they fidled with it to no avail and then brought it to me. It had low compresion and would not run start then stall I fixed the head turned out to be a cam issue dowl pin 180 out. now comp. it 140 dry accross the board. the car has an aftermarket OVCOP with blowoff valve has what looks to be an 88 89 MAF KN air cleaner I have checked timing I have checked vac lines I have checked gound and other wires found one bad ground and lose temp sending unit plug in the stock vac guage says -14 somtimes less but berries if you try to rev it up it also will not rev past 3k or boost does a wiered rev die rev die rev die and no idle Update I replaced the tps and MAF to a stock setup That solved the guage issue and runnability did the isc reset that solved idle also reset the tps all are in spec and seem to work fine. What I mean is now it idles but floods out if i step on the gas it will try to boost gets to about -7 or a little less but never revs up never boosts really. Any Ideas would help want it running or its gona be a parts carI have five others to lose hair on

naw I would think that if the e-brake was on it would pull down the rear if it was parked the other way it would lift the rear. But the real question is why does it matter all starquests look like they a squating in the rear when lowerd it's more to do with the fender well than the car. In my read on this is that the system is empty and if it's empty it will not turn on at all so jumping the low pressure swith plug with a whire will turn the pump on and the pressure gauge will drop on the filler can to zero till it starts to build pressure. Just jump the plug and tell us if it turns on the pump

great read balt if you still messin with it make sure you pump is on while trying to fill it sound like the pump is not on just use a jummper wire on the low pressure switch to turn on the pump and fill away I do have a question about this If you have a shop evac the system can you fill it up with r134 or is there somthing else that needs to be done besides checking for leaks and replacing worn parts

^^^^^^ The grumpy old man is right you need to do somthing with this car or it will die completely. You brother should help fix the thing due to driving it knowing it was sick. You need to at least do some preventive maitenance

I did work for me but the truck's computer would eventually richen up the mix due to the O2 also use a tank every three days 80 bucks a tank do the math :confused0024:

I downloaded that episode strage it did work for me It did take a tank or two before I saw an improvment. and did start to lose it around the six or seventh tank truck seemed to run better. Also to get it back i installed a PWM to change the signal comming from the O2 am doing more research to see the limits of the thing

please learn to read. may i sugest a community collage. I said i tried it on my truck. Starquests are to problematic to experiment on. I wanted to see for myself in my case it worked if just a little bit. as for an HHO generator I'd rather try somthing than knock it becides being an A$$ is being done by you nicely

I was just saying that it worked for me. What you should do is go read a book and learn somthing instead of being an A$$ and put people down. And a small bit on plastics I do r/c racing, acetone is a great way to take off the glue that holds the tires to the rim. hmmm strange i got a 2 mile per galon increse when I started using it I now get 15 when I used to get 13 I've had truck all my life since new so I know this truck pretty well. Works for me 2 1/2 to 3 OZ per ten gallons 20 gallon tank do the math

Volvo 780 Bertone Coupe was desined by italian's and built by volvo basicaly it's a 2dr volvo kinda rare fun daily driver But be aware parts are harder to find than our cars.

O ya I got one This was the start of many problems O then finding this mess That took out the turbo later then some of the exhaust studs started to losten and break then HLA's didn't pump up then the motor blew.

Sorry there are to many better cars out there. And by better I mean better support, reliability, parts, performance versus cost. I feel these are the main reason our cars just don't command the money we should get for them.
