  1. Hey Fanta, yeah it has been a while! Been busy, got married, bought a house, got a good job I'll probably retire at. Yeah things have changed, lol.
  2. I am selling a 1988 Starion that has an engine with 0 miles. I bought two cars from jonboyb, and one of them is gone already, so here is what you are getting: A Solid body with little or no rust that I can find, yet unfortunately got hailed on. I didn't receive a black hood with it, so it has the silver hood. The car has been in a garage for the last 4ish years. The engine was built by jonboyb and has many new parts, including a new crank. It has never been cranked as far as I know, but has been in a shop since I have had it. The previous owner had installed a V8 into the car, I have reinstalled a stock engine. You get a complete engine wiring harness with the car. I have a good bit of parts that go with the car, two transmissions, extra starter, some turbo parts extra 12a and a S16G, extra cluster, extra injectors, etc. Look at the pictures. I know I am going to take a big loss on this, but I need this car out of my garage, I don't have the time or money to fix it. I have all four Starion wheels that have fairly new tires on them plus a brand new tire of the same type. The two mismatched wheels are off a 300ZX, lol. This car does not come with everything needed to get it running unfortunately. You will need a radiator, intercooler and piping, and a driveshaft which I seem to have lost. I have 2k in all this stuff, I don't expect to get that for a car that doesn't run, so I will start at $1500, mainly because of the engine. I would prefer to sell everything at once to one person and be done with it. http://s63.photobucket.com/user/starion76/slideshow/Starion%20FS
  3. I believe it had a Chevy 350 in it. Luckily I've got a good engine harness to go in it, but I keep seeing things that I will need, and don't have... fun.
  4. Well, I'm back, lol. Only a few years this time, still have a Starion, not the old 84 flatty but an 88, in pieces, lol. So it's time to reassemble it and get it out of the garage, might need some parts, this car used to have a V8 in it, fun... anyways, glad to be back, see you guys around sometime. LaterZ
  5. Radiator and air can shipped to 30179 price?
  6. You said complete running car. Is the engine for sale? I want the longblock, or shortblock. If it is a NJV head then longblock, if not, shortblock. Thanks.
  7. Name: Daniel Location: Metro area Georgia Wanted: An engine Price: Depends on what condition the engine is in. I've given up on rebuilding what I have now, now I just want the car back together so it can be driven. I need a short or long block. Don't care either way. I have everything else needed including all new timing stuff, oil pump, etc. All I need is a block with a decent crank, rods, pistons, etc. A NJV head would be nice, but not required. Let me know where you are and how much, and I'll be over at your house to pick it up, lol. LaterZ.

PICS: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=64976&st=0&p=624848&fromsearch=1entry624848 Selling this head that I bought from redrocket tsi a while back. I paid $800 for it, selling for $600 because I'm a dumb schmuck. Take advantage of my stupidity and get a great deal!! Taken from redrockettsi's post: "2000miles on it. The head is a brand new, non jet casting. i paid $800 for the port work. It has O.S. stainless valves, 292 cam, full mechanical with HD springs." I never used it, I have kept it wrapped in saran wrap for over 2 years... Comes with a full set of ARP head studs and has a nice shiny valve cover. Thanks for reading.
  13. Who knows, lol. I just know I need to get rid of it so someone else can start fixing it up.
  14. UPDATE!! I will now sell the car without the performance head and ARP Head studs for $800. You will still get everything else, I just can't sell the head WITH the car at that price. Pretty good deal if you ask me...... NAME: Daniel Terrell PHONE NUMBER: Email for number EMAIL: green_baron76@yahoo.com LOCATION: Summerville, GA PAYMENT PREFERENCE: Cash, possibly check. ------------------------------------------------------------------ ITEM: 84 Mitsubishi Starion ES PRICE: 1200 obo 800 without M8 head SHIPPING: I bring it to you or you come get it. PICS: Go here for pics of it when she was still driving around: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2224593 (Pics are old, it has a full interior now and all that lame red stuff has been repainted black. The guy I got the car from had....an imagination, lol). DESCRIPTION: Has the Velnas trip computer, LSD, "Professor X" wheels, lol. H39 Kaiser silver paint code, has been intercooled and has an HKS Fuel Cut Defencer. About two years ago one of the timing guide broke and started rattling. So I pulled it into the garage and yanked the timing cover. Long story short, metal in the oil pan. So I was going to rebuild the engine, it never happened. I DID however buy a crapton of parts for it, almost everything you need to get this engine running very well. Parts: New M8 Casting head. Bought the head from a guy on this forum. From this post: "The head is a brand new, non jet casting. i paid $800 for the port work. It has O.S. stainless valves, 292 cam, full mechanical with HD springs." http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=64976&st=0&p=624848&fromsearch=1entry624848 All new: Factory oil pump, complete set of gaskets (Upper and lower), ARP Main studs, ARP Head studs, Complete timing set from Dad (BSE kits included), new guides, seals, etc. Exhaust stud kit. You get the point. I have everything needed to rebuild the engine EXCEPT the required machine work and possible pistons/rods. You also get the old factory head, a S16G turbo that needs rebuilding, an 84 Conquest and 83 Starion Factory service manual, and any other parts I have laying around for this car, which is likely a good bit more than I am listing on here. Things wrong with the car: The paint is...not really paint. It's primer but the body is solid with very little rust and very minor dings scratches. It has about 110,000 miles. The transmission is in great shape, many have said it was the smoothest they have driven. Tires are fairly new Falken ZE512s. The interior was stripped when I got the car, I installed most of the interior of another car, black. I have the original seats as well. The Bottom line: I would be a liar if I said the car doesn't need a good bit of work, but it's nothing that can't be accomplished by someone with basic mechanics knowledge and an engine hoist. I loved this when I drove it, and I wish that I could fix it up myself but I have to be realistic. Yeah, growing up SUCKS, lol. So, I'm gonna ask $1200 for the car. If that sounds like too much then I'm sorry. I spent well over $1200 on parts alone and I'd like to see some of that money back. All the parts I bought were the best I could find. I can deliver the car if necessary, for a fee of course. I can deliver it a reasonable distance, depending on how far and circumstances. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message. Thanks for reading!
  15. Nomination for most worthless thread ever?
  16. Hahahahahah! I saw that the other night, the remix version is actually pretty awesome, haha. Yeah I know what you talking about as far as in prison, "Sagging" pants means you are somebody's "property" and the accept you-know-what in your you-know-where. I think if rap had messages like that, it would be worth listening to. Like that "Read a book" rap, hahah.
  17. It needs turbo and massive fuel injectors. Thereby voiding the entire reason for buying it and making it extraordinarily dangerous, lol.
  18. Man I wish I could go... I've got something else I have to do this weekend, naturally. I have an odd request, if someone would help me out on this. I need a clutch for my Nissan, and I am having money problems (who isn't?), and if someone could help me with this, it would help me out a lot. Now, SPEC is there pretty much every year, and the people there will sell you a clutch for like 10% off and free shipping: it's a track discount. Now, last time I was there I talked to the guy and he gave me his card and said if I ordered a clutch from him within a week or so he would give me the discount. So what I need is for someone to go get one of there business cards and ask if you can buy the clutch later, and then give me the name and number on the card. It's that easy. I don't know how you guys feel about this, I feel kind of stupid for asking, but I'm looking to save money in any way I can. Also, since this is Jimmy's meet, I would like to ask his permission for this before anything happens. So yeah, if someone could do that for me and save me a little moolah, I'll be sure to buy them a round or two next time we meet, or fix your car or something, lol. Thanks in advance, and wish I could make it. Daniel.
