I had a mechanic rebuild my engine, brake system, remove A/C and all for that only a little over $10,000....seriously,,,,not even kidding.....Well he passed away so that settles that, but now I have a brand new engine, less then 10,000 miles on it,,,actually about 3300, and I'm considering putting a new transmission in it,,manual that is.. Last tranny job was done in 2000. No problems since, probably close to a 100,000 miles on that tranny, so does anyone have any recommendations on where to get a new tranny and what kind??? Also any ideas on where to get a new cruise control system? Mine works sporadically. Oh ,,,,and how do i go about getting the rear end rebuilt or replaced. I know very very little about cars, hence maybe thats why my mechanic bent me over with no kiss or vaseline. any help / recommendations would be very appreciated. KICK tail!!!! How can I send you pictures of whats on my car now??? I used some guy a few years ago,,,,,ron@moto-on and ron@circsellers but I can't find him anywhere. So I replaced everything in the front end of my 86, tie rods, ball joints, pit man arm, sway bar, struts and strut plates and the f'n thing still sounds like the front wheels are or engine is going to fall out.. It clanks and clatters like crazy...Horribly annoying and no f'n mechanic around here can seem to figure it out what the hell it is...So any information or suggestions would be grateful before I drive it into a wall.. Ok so I've replaced every f'n thing in the front end of my 86; tie rods, ball joints, pitman arm, sway bar, strut inserts and strut plates and now just driving down the street, there is still horrible clankity clank clattering noise coming from the front end. Any ideas on what else to check / replace???? Any complete diagrams of the whole strut assembly out there anywhere?? Please help.. Anything is appreciated. Thanks in advance,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,before I drive the f'n thing into the lake.....

What all comes in your a/c kits? How much??? Do you still have the door handles?

So my old mechanic who rebuilt the engine, pulled off the old tail a/c compressor and tubing to give it more HP he said. Well now I am in the process of putting it all back in. Where can I find tubing from the compressor back to the fire wall where it goes in. Or is there a KIT i can buy to do this all at once? Is this as simple as it seems??? I have a new turbo on my car from FORCED PERFORMANCE, I think, and the turbo boost gauge will not even get up to the 7 on the boost gauge. How can I get more boost?

Couple questions please. My cruise control just stopped working one day. Any ideas? Also, my heater, when put on 90, would literally bake you out of the car. Now the two vents on the passenger side blows kinda warm and the two on the driver side blow almost warm air,,,after it sits and idles for 30 minutes, literally. When I drive the car their is cooler / cold air coming in the driver vents, and the passenger vents don't blow so warm anymore... The little arm on the vents for outisde air are closed / pushed down. AND it ONLY blows air out of the dash vents, no defrost or foot vents going on. Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance... LAST ONE,,,my front end / suspension sounds like its ready to fall apart. I replaced the sway bar bushings and the sway bar link pins. What ALL parts can I replace to make it like new...What would ALL of those parts be for the front suspension?

I am in need of a fusible link wire harness for an 86 conquest. There is one clip that has 3 fuses on the bottom side that plugs into the car and the other pig tail has a 2 link fuse on it that plugs in to the car. I was sent one but it was for an 87 I believe and the pig tail with the 2 links that i need the 87 only has 1 fuse link clip thing. Attached is a picture. I am looking for the one on the upper right. The one in the middle is the one i have now and i can't figure out how to wire it so that it works. b/c right now there is no power to the car and everything is hooked up EXCEPT for the 2 prong pig tail on my car side. .I tried both ports on the car side and still get no power. the first picture attached is the one i need, its the harness on the top right of the picture. the harness in the middle is the one that was sent to me. also the one in the middle has a long white wire with an eyelet on it,,,,where does that go or what is it for? the second picture is the one that the guy sent to me...which again is the one in the middle of the first picture.
