  7. I agree with PDX87Starion, the caller is trying to convert 0.002c into 0.002% of 1cent. The caller does not know how the decimal point works when it comes to money. $0.002 is equal to 0.002c which is 2tenths of one cent. Notice how the dollar symbol is written on the left and the cent symbol is written on the right. When the first operator said there was no difference between point zero zero two dollars and point zero zero two cents, he was correct since he mentioned the proper placement of the decimal point. However, halfway into the conversation, the caller started converting everything into fractions which just confused everybody. A minute into the phone call, the caller actually converted 2tenths of a penny into point two cents not realizing that when you right point two cents on paper it would read 0.20c which is 20 cents. Converting monetary values into fractions is not the same as converting regular numbers into fractions. 0.002c is not 2thousandths of one cent. When Verizon quoted the caller point zero zero two cents per kilobyte usage, it is a marketing ploy, since hearing point zero zero two cents sounds less expensive than hearing point zero zero two dollars even though they are the same amount. It is similar to going to McDonalds and ordering a quarter pounder instead of the four ouncer. Saying quarter pounder sounds like a bigger burger compared to the four ouncer even though it's the same weight burger. Brando

  14. When I purchased my 1988 TSi, the previous owner already installed a remanufactured motor by a company named Recon. After six years of daily use, I finally blew the headgasket and the motor seized from sitting still. I would like to know which is a better ..... rebuild this motor which worked great before the blown headgasket or just get another Reman motor. Thanks, Brando

  18. I was just curious as to what year and model mitsubishi you got your 4G64 motor from which will bolt up to the stock conquest/starion 5-speed. I'm asking because I recently saw a 1992 Mitsubishi Expo at the local junkyard with a 4G64 motor and wondering if it will bolt up to our transmission. Thanks, Brando
