  1. I also ordered parts from Showdown Motorsports... Paid, and never saw the parts... finally informed them that I would be doing a chargeback on my creditcard via paypal, and they suddenly shipped the part overnight... Part was cracked upon receipt. I just kep it at that point, had already gone through enough hassle with them.
  2. I've bought parts from Tom on several occasions... Fuel injectors, temp sending units, brake calipers, etc. Each time was perfect. Tom is very honest, and his parts have all worked for me. He's one of the few people I would feel comfortable recommending to my friends. -Brad
  3. I've had no troubles with my local opthamologist that I went to high school with doing it for me and 2 other select friends. Nothing went on the record here (Wisconsin) but it may be different for other states. Basically I have a 'prescription' for tinted windows that I have to carry in the glovebox all the time in case I get pulled over. -Brad '91 Eclipse GSX
  4. Raging- this would be better suited in the body mods forum I had a friend who had a prescription from his doctor for tinted windows. He has some affliction that makes him real susceptible to sunlight. Always a fun time to make him walk around outside in the daytime and watch him burn and blister =) Ryddler- Maybe he posted it here cuz he 'wished' that he had tinted windows? =) -Brad '91 Eclipse GSX <- 12.6@111 last saturday night... YIPEE!
  5. I would say that if you call a 'vendors' phone number and they answer it as the business, then its a vendor... I.E you call me, I answer the phone as 'Schmuckatellis starquest parts and pizza ovens' then I'm a vendor. If I answer it as 'hello?' then I'm probbaly not. Vendors usually have a business line, a better business bureau listing, a dunn and bradstreet rating, or a tax number. Just my $0.02 as a business owner =) -Brad '86 BMW 325 '91 Eclipse GSX
  6. And then there are those of us who suck (like me) whos car redlines at 4500RPM... Guess I'll never see those numbers match up =) -Brad
  7. Not all women with quests are 'badasses'. Terry Wilson had some complaints (form men and women) about the picture he had on his site of the girl that was on the hood of a quest. This is a site about quests, I'm sure there are a million sites out there with a 'pic of the day'. -Brad
  8. This is why I wouldn't put much trust in this list. People listing others whom they have never bought anything from. Brad '89 TSi
  9. *nod* yeah, you can get the 18G and an SDS AIC with 2 injectors all for under a grand =D Good luck with it! Brad '89 TSi
  10. www.forcedperformance.net under the conquest/starion section. Brad '89 TSi
  11. Little known fact about the 'super duper 19C'... it runs out of steam at around 18PSI due to the little C wheel in it. 18G is a much better turbo for the $$ (and on sale for $495 right now even)... Just wanted to let people know about that 18PSI thing... I almost ran out and bought aq 19 myself until I learned that from the NABR list... Brad '89 TSi
  12. Mike- I have to run to Renner later this week to get some parts... would you be willing to email me the name of the FUSO dealer where you got it so I can swing by and order one? Thanks! Brad
  13. At least you had the forethought to photoshop it on the car before going crazy and cutting and fiberglassing like a madman =) Ditch the scoop, keep the car =) Brad '89 TSi '85.5 I/C
  14. Supposedly you can use the caliper off a 3kGT with a bit of machining to the strut mounts in the front... Not sure of the exact details, as I have the stock brakes still, but if you do some digging around on the net you should be able to find some info... Brad '89 TSi
