Hey guys, I have a quick question, I tried searching and didn't come up with a answer so please bear with me on this one. I need a new fuel tank for my 87 starion, I found a guy that is selling a clean gas tank from a 86 model, any chance does anyone know if it will fit or not?

On mine I went with a Wilwood Brake Flexline part number 220-6414 with a Fragola -3 A-N Steel Brake Adapter

I did it on mine because I wanted a cleaner engine bay. It was honestly really simple, took maybe a hour to remove the unit and install the new brake line while taking a couple of beer brakes.

Let me know about the fuel level unit, mine rusted out and didn't work at all.

Yea everything has been cleaned out, replaced the fuel lines and filters. I am wondering though, I had the battery plugged in for a good couple of weeks and it didn't drain, and during that time the fuel pump was disconnected. The day I tried to start it I plugged the fuel pump back in, everything looked good, but it just wasn't priming. I left the battery and everything plugged and came out this morning to find the battery dead like it was drained out. Possibly a bad ground?

Honestly if its cheap and will work as a temporary that would be fine. I just wanna see this thing run after sitting for so many years.haha, David pm sent, thanks guys.

As the title says guys, I need a fuel pump for my 87 starion, and possibly a main relay that controls the fuel pump. If you have a used one your willing to let go let me know. Thanks.

Yea I checked the cone when I dropped the tank, had it all cleaned out. Could have been a possibility that some debris could have gotten in there again, but the pump didn't seem to prime. Since I got work off tomorrow im gonna borrow a volt meter and go thru the wiring and make sure im getting power. Hmmm I think I got about 3 gallons in the tank. Looks like I got some work ahead of me tomorrow.

Hey guys, back with another newbie question. My 87 starion sat since 2008, I went thru it, all the wiring looked fine, dropped the gas tank and cleaned it out. It cranks, but just wont run, and everything else on the gauge cluster is reading except for the fuel level. I had a buddy crank the car and no fuel was coming from the injectors, we also noticed the fuel pump didn't sound like it was priming, so I did the manual check and got nothing. Now before I go and replace the fuel pump is there any other relays, wires, or any others parts I should look at?

Dam I should have checked on this post sooner, I just ordered a dimmer switch yesterday off ebay, and I fixed the ground, thanks for the offer though.
