    You won't need a CDL unless the gvw (gross vehicle weight) of the truck and trailer exceed 26,000#, I have been hauling oversize loads for over 20 years and have seen combinations of a pickup and trailer that does require a CDL. Add the weights on the door tag of the truck and trailer tag to get your gvw.

    Thanks dave, was thinking about getting a set of D2's to help the clearance issue, but cant decide on what rims to get. I really like the factory style rim for these cars.

    Burton makes covers for the foglight holes in clear, light tint and dark tint, maybe get some of the clear and mount projection lights or LED's behind them.

    The so-called "clean air trucks" these days cost about another $15,000 more for the exhaust system alone, and if you blow a turbo and keep driving it they deny your warranty and you will have to pay for a new exhaust burner out of your pocket. Gotta love the EPA!

    He meant par rods from tep, there about $750.00 new for the four rods, there almost as strong as the pauter rods which i think he has a set of those too!
