Is 6an enough for the fuel lines?
leesfer replied to leesfer's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
I'll keep that in mind next time I am building a stock car. -
What material are they made from? Sorry if I missed that elsewhere What did you use to trim them?

How do you remove the key/ignition bracket from steering column?
leesfer replied to leesfer's topic in Virtual Mechanic
Actually going to be pulling out the heater core entirely. This is mostly a track and weekend car, and I live in San Diego so heating isn't a big deal -
Anything that I was selling has been sold already

Will they come with all hardware required to bolt on? I'm interested but can't drop a deposit until end of the month (Christmas kills the wallet!)

Great, thanks -
I've been building my fuel system at 6an but now thinking that I should have built it all at 8an. Is 6an enough from tank all the way forward, or should I redo it all at 8an?

What shims do I need for caravan valves?
leesfer replied to leesfer's topic in Advanced Virtual Mechanic
I'd hate the pull my head off again to change valves, but it sounds like I should probably do that at this point and replace them with stainless? I was under the impression that a few people were running caravan valves. The stainless valves are prone to burning, too, aren't they? -
I have a caravan head and caravan valves, with 1.6 roller rockers and one of Tim C's Howling Banshee roller cam Does anyone know what size shims I need for the lifters to finish this setup?

Pressure range is 30-70 psi Not sure if the rail will work with chads. Might need to make different brackets to bolt up -

Yes, it's the 4-injector rail. I decided to go with a different rail that that had an AFPR already attached to my magna -
