  1. Actually, Austin posted that a while ago. I just bumped it up hoping that somebody with more knowledge on the topic might shed some more light on it for me.
  2. Curious as to how this compares to the, "Valvoline Super Coolant." From the Valvoline website...... From the Evans Cooling Systems website..... Is this a, "conventional" glycol-based coolant?? Somebody with more experience in this area care to help explain? Thanks.
  3. Perfect! That's a great lookin cowl hood!
  4. This is my favorite scoop on a SQ, second would be a nice MILD cowl, not some huge thing. I talked to the owner of this car, and this is what he told me.... http://members.aol.com/midniteride89/images/purple%20starion%201.jpg
  5. I love the blue! That would be perfect with the gauge needles a deep red color when lit up! Are you planning on offering a kit? Count me in if you are, thanks!
  6. I just bought a mint condition OEM Starion bra from Matt. Great communication, item just as described, and he even sent it before I sent payment! (I still don't recommend people doing that) Â All around a great deal, and I'd recommend him to anyone! Thanks again Matt!
  7. Hey Mike, I remember you saying something about this before.... Do you have a stock 1g MAS in addition to the Al Blaha one? If you do, are you going to dyno the car with the 2 and see what performance gains you get from the Blaha? What about going to a VPC instead? Thanks.
  8. That blue Quest belongs to "pumpedtsi.....", ask him if it's functional. I think the scoop is off an old Capri........remember those from Mercury in the early 80's?
  9. I'd like to see some pics of the angel eyes! Also, pics above/behind the pop ups... I know it's an odd request, but I have my reasons.
  10. Hey DJ, how've ya been?? You still make those hardpipes? Oh yeah, I can't see the pics either.
  11. One thing worries me though. Click on Dodge, and it shows...."Dodge Conquest 2.6L Non-Turbo 1984-1987." Click on Mitsubishi and...... " Mitsubishi Starion 2.6L Non-Turbo 1983-1987," and, "Mitsubishi Starion 2.6L Turbo 1988-1989." What's most interesting is the "Non-Turbo" flywheel is $511.92, while the "Turbo" flywheel is $493.99! Non-Turbo?? ALL StarQuests are turbocharged! lol
  12. : Â : Â : I edit my posts a lot, partly because of spelling errors, partly because I do have a second, or third thought about posting some things, but I don't care if others see that I edited it. You'd be amazed at how much I held back here..... Â
  13. Aren't we a bit touchy? : Sarcasm you can dish, but apparently not take? 1) "BIG," (as you put it), message boards have it. Are you attempting to goad me into some sense of, "Hey, we're a "BIG" board too?!" lol Or are you saying that it is too much effort to scroll down to look at the post you just made? 2) Again with the, "larger message boards," what do larger message boards have to do with anything? More to the point, what does the phrase, "this post last edited on," matter?? How many people actually pay attention to it? What do you feel others will think if they see it....what do you think of people when you see that they edited their posts? Why is 2 minutes the "magic" time frame to give? Besides, it was part of the code already, not something that was put in to make people feel any particular way. You are an egocentric freak dude! I honestly don't understand why you have issues with either of these things, that's all.
  14. -If you need to re-read your own post immediately after you write it, you're an egocentric freak. -That's really nit picking. : Buck up and accept the fact that when people see, "this post was last edited on...," they know you f'd up. Hell, look at all of my posts! :-X
  15. I've bought 4 of Zack's shirts, fantastic quality! Always answered e-mails fast, and shipped promptly. Best thing is, when I originally requested size XLT (Xtra Large Tall), he didn't have it......BUT, he then got it for me! Awesome! Thanks.
  16. Dave, funny you should mention TWM. I e-mailed them waaaaay back in November of 2001 about doing an intake for us. Below, is their response. Anybody have $12g's burning a hole in their pocket?
  17. From the magazine articles I am looking at...... Narrow body = 0.35cd Wide body = 0.35cd I believe Mitsu also states the same coefficient of drag for both models in the brochures, but I'm too lazy to drag them out right now.
  18. I like the idea. Keep one thing in mind about the speed of updates on here tho. Ryddler is the only one that can make a direct change to the site, none of us mods can change the code or implement other core site changes. Ryddler has also rewritten most of the code himself, and you can ask him for specifics on exactly how much code that is! lol Trust me when I say that all of us wish things could move faster. Shawn, you may ask Ryddler if it is alright to have a post of your products placed as a sticky. I would also be happy to place your website on the Temp links page, if you'd like. (Any of the mods could do that) Thanks for all the hard work and great help you've given, and continue to give the entire SQ community Shawn, I really appreciate it.
  19. I know you are, but what am I!?! Gabe's a doodyhead! ;D
  20. Technically, our engines are 2.555 liters, but Mitsu called it a 2.6. So, I think you have some room to keep calling it a 2.6, Tim C's engine is something like 2.777 and he still calls it a 2.6! (Or does he say it's a 2.8 now?)
  21. "Over 18" might work, but "Mature" has flown out the window. :
  22. Just wanted to let you know that I spoke with Ernie tonight and asked him about this post. He told me that his hard drive crashed and he will hopefully get the new one soon. I am sure that he will resolve this with you ASAP.
  23. - StarQuest Illustrated - The Drawing Room - Conceptual StarQuests .....or some variation of these.
  24. YES!! It would be great way to expand the site and enjoy our StarQuest addiction.
  25. Hey Brian, thanks for that link! Those lights are the only kind I would consider changing over my stock lights to. Now what I'd like to do is this....... change over to those "angel eyes" lights while keeping the pop up feature, but the lights would only "pop up" half of the way compared to the stock setup. Does that make sense? I think that would look kick a**. ;D
