  1. This would work great on my crv. Lemme know what happens to it?
  2. Who cares about the toys! Show more pics of the background cars!
  3. Will this fit my honda crv?
  4. Any mods? All stock? Any more pics!? Damn that's a good looking car!
  5. Thanks for the compliment! Yeah, vigilante justice is frowned upon in the courts. I didn't have much going on in my life then so jail wasn't too bad. Schaffman, that's a good looking car you got there!
  6. You'd be surprised on how easy it is to do this little trick. With that said, it'd be easy to skip a tooth. I did this today just to see if it'd work. Sure as s*** it did! Gotta give ol' Shelby props for this!
  7. Wait...What do you mean by non pubic!?
  8. Coulda clicked the link... http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w457/veliline/funklock_2_669.jpg
  9. LMAO! I know a fat dude that drives an acura that's lambo yellow!
  10. I'm using the 12V source that used to power the stock coil. I think I must have got too much sun yesterday, because things are starting to make sense again wrngwae, that's the exact one I'm using! It was the cheapest priced AND life time warranty! Thanks for the replies. It always seems something simple
  11. And for some reason it goes off a tooth... http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=28047
  12. I like Lamborghini orange better than yellow. http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w457/veliline/lamborghini_orange_county_big.jpg Get's you chicks too! See, you don't see em by the yellow one!
  13. So last night I went over my check list and found a couple things that I forgot to unplug from the stock plug ins (TPS) and forgot to plug in. I had power to the yellow wire from the dizzy and now I don't. What I did was some organizing, shortening the wires from the ignition and getting rid of the quick connectors that came with the FIP and hard wired the wires in. I just wanted to make sure no wires were touching anything they weren't supposed to be. I'm not sure what went wrong. I've searched through the whole engine bay and tried everything. I unplugged everything and hooked it up again. Same thing, no power. I have power to the Summit ignition. The FIP box isn't lighting up any more either. Here are the directions I followed from Scott... To be absolutely certain you should ohm test the yellow and white leads to the distributor pickup, the left side of the pickup looking down at it should have +12V switched power and be “t”ed with the red wire from the tach adapter, I believe the white wire from the dizzy goes to the left side of the pickup but as I said, verify that. The other wire from the dizzy is the signal wire, that should be “t”ed with the white wire from the tach adapter and the orange wire going to the controller. It is an orange wire, not yellow, and it only goes to the ECU. Those two “t” junction connections are the critical ones for proper operation. Since the only wires to the coil positive and negative are now from the MSD and since they are running over 500 volts the factory tachometer circuit will no longer function. The tach output from the MSD box is a signal that can run many aftermarket tachometers or you can make it run the factory tachometer on the dash by using another MSD tach adapter. It isn’t necessary to make this work to run the car, just nice to have your tach functional. In this case the tach output would go to a “t” junction between the white wire from the tach adapter and the factory tach input wire. The red wire goes to switched 12 volts. That’s it. I had a few questions for him in this email he sent me, but I wanted to give an idea what I'm into. Thanks
  14. No. Not from what I see in the pics anyways.
  15. Well last night I got it running so it's alive! I need to tune the FIP modded by Scott and sync the timing. I'll have a video of it up once I get some wires rerouted and the engine bay cleaned up again. It's been a long time coming but I finally got it back together and running after 4 long years!
  16. About all Washington has to offer. Just remember...Go to the most inbred looking indian. He gives the best deals!
  17. Nice edit! Well of course there is! It's between Eugene (Hippyville) and Methford!
  18. It seems to not heat up any more since I unplugged the other wires going to the posts on the coil. Everyone is talking about how their 8910s are a red and white wire. Why is mine red and black? I'm guessing that the black wire is the same as the white wire?
  19. So how many teens did you knock up?
  20. There's gold all through them there hills!
  21. Aren't the 17c and 19c turbo's a t3 flange? Those spool fast and TBI safe.
  22. Now Robert's going to get ANOTHER one! Kind of a drive from Hillsburrito
  23. I have the 8910 adapter. That's next on the list. I've never used these relays before. Sounds like a great idea! I'll head over to CRAPA and see what they got.
  24. So I just use the 12v switched that originally powered the stock coil? What color is that wire? Well, I guess I can stop being lazy and use my tester and see what lights up. Thanks for your help guys. I'm slowly starting to figure this out.
