So I made a boost leak tester. Simple to make haha Now I dont have an air compressor and dont know any friends that have one. Although there is a tire inflator machine at the sheetz near my house and you can set what psi you want it to run at. Im thinking I could just set it to 16 psi and then just listen to see where its leaking at. The machine is kinda loud but I think I could distinguish between the machine and air in my engine. Has anyone done this without a compressor?

Well my friend was looking for another car since he wrecked his jeep. I said I would help him find a car so we looked and we found a nice thunderbird for sale on craigslist. We get there and its in nice condition and everything so he ends up buying it and driving it home. THE NEXT DAY that night I hear this LOUD a** metal knocking noise coming from a car coming up the road. Sure enough it was him and hes like dude my car is making a noise. Turns out he didnt know how to even check his own oil so when the engine started tapping likely because it had less oil then it was supposed to,he decided to take off the oil cap and look in and saw no oil. He then proceded to fill this poor engine up with oil until he could see oil coming out of the cap where you put it in. HE PUT 7 QUARTS OF OIL INTO THIS ENGINE AND HAD 2 MORE QUARTS IN THE BACKSEAT. It was scraped the next day. Just thought I could share some stupid today.

Kinda off topic here but that would be awesome to have rally car racing as your job BTW that looks crazy the trail there on haha
