Cops (most) are laaaaaaaaaaaaazy. And think they know everything. Here's your story to get thie tails to put out an APB on the caddy: You didn't report it stolen earlier cuz you assumed your friend borrowed it without asking, but hours later you've come to realize that it may have not been him who took the car and it is stolen. There was an AC machine and complete set of tools inside. Bam... cops get something to do which may involve pursuit... they should be all over that. BTW, I'd look into your neighbor shop about his "story" and the "call". Be veeeeeeeery suspect of that guy as well. -Robert

I remember that BS. Couldn't believe it. First off, if that was my kid... I don't care how rich I am, they're getting a POS as thier first car. Second, if they whined or complained it'd be a swift backhand... LOL... Well, that doesn't make me as mad as some "parents" let thier kids run around stores yelling and screaming and making noise... ugh. I remember when I was manager at this restaurant, I caught a kid climbing up our soda machine... he was going to break the machine and fall... and I look over and his mother isn't even watching where he is. I pull him off and set him on the floor next to his mom, "WATCH YOUR KID!!" I was ready to slap the kid... and then the mom. Or this other time, I see a mother and her 7 year old daughter standing in the parking lot, waiting next to thier car cuz it won't start. The mom is smoking but then decides she needs to look for something in the car... so what does she do?? SHE HANDS THE 7 YEAR OLD THE LIT CIGARETTE TO HOLD... W...T...F... -Robert
