    89 Tsi

Yes it does have some rust on the typical spots,in front of the rear wheels and no sunroof. @Gary,I would like to see the car go to a good home.If I had the money I would finish the motor and drop it back in and drive it. Would like to make some money on it but just unsure what to ask.

    89 Tsi

Hey guys I have a 1989 Tsi with 90k on the clock. Its a palmero grey 5sp with tan and black interior. As of right now the engine is out and torn down due to the timing chain rattling around.I had planned to rebuild it completely until I lost my job a month ago.I just recently landed another job but money is really tight. It has mk1 struts and eibach springs and brand new oem strut tops in the front.Four brand new tires with maybe 200 miles on it. Stage 2 clutch by competition clutch with under 100 miles on it. A full first gen 2.5 exhaust by *DM with a straight through magnaflow muffler.Aem uego wideband and so much more. When the car was together I was not hesitant to drive it anywhere, never gave me trouble.I would hate to part the chassis as it is a roller, all the engine parts and hardware is all bagged and labled. The car is located in Carmel New York 10512.My new email is aust3412@gmail.com,cell number is 845-489-8453.Im really unsure what to put for as a price,if you would like to come see it please get a hold of me.Im home after 530pm during the week and always around on the weekends. Thanks,Dan

  6. Yes the one on the right is with the camber plates. I guess if your really going to use the camber plates for like drifting or some track time it might be worth it.
  7. Here is a pic of the front wheel, one with and one with out the camber plates. Both pics are with the Eibachs.
  8. Not sure what its worth but I must say that looks sweet!!!

  14. Dstar88 the injectors are Delphi's from the current group buy from Brian at Lower Shores. The size's are 680,950.All that writing and I forgot to mention the brand and sizes .I tried to tune it when the car was at operating temp with some success but when you start it the next day (cold startup)she is very lean? This morning at looked at the injector clips and found the rubber seal inside if the clip missing for the primary injector? Must of fallen out when I installed the new injectors.I will fix that and retry again, def will swap the old ones in just to see if there is a difference. Thanks Dan
  15. The car is a 89 tsi with 90k.It has a 2.5 exhaust from downpipe back, maft 3inc gm mass, aem uego. These are the only mods. The maft knobs are all set to 0.Before the new injectors the car ran great!Cold idle was around 13-14 a/f,warmed idle was lower around 12.5?? not sure why.while cruising it was around 14-15 a/f, wot 10-12 a/f. Installed new injectors car did not want to run, then finally did but at 16+ a/f. As it warmed up it came back to around 14 but at times the idle would drop then rise again. When it did this it went really lean. When I pulled away from a red light the car was fine in 1st then switched to 2nd and pegged lean,bucking..them came back to life?? Tested tps, cts. Sorry for such a long post.Any help would be great. Thanks, Dan
  16. I live right off of exit 17 on 84 Ludingtonville road.15 minutes from rt 9 35 minutes from poughkeepsie.Im definatly down for a mini meet!I agree with you on the stance,I have oem strut tops on there way.
  17. Im going to buy the oem strut tops so I can get the proper ride height with the springs. The car looks bad from the behind until you look at it from the side. You live and you learn, will have plenty of time this winter to get it all straightened out.Take some pics if you can,or I can take a ride out to you im probably 45-50 minutes from you. Dan
