  1. I'm somewhat new here, bought my Quest about 6 months ago. Is the hood on this gem rarer than the highly sought after 83 hood? Are there production numbers with the limited edition designation from the factory or does that come with the emblem and the Pep Boys enter it into the limited edition registry. BTW, I've been told that the middle brother Moe does all the limited edition stuff.
  2. Try a website called Frugal Mechanic. I found one about a year ago for my 87. Knew they were getting hard to find. It is a new replacement not OEM. paid about $125 for it. It was a known mfg of heater a/c parts but forgot the name.
  3. Does this price include the piece that holds the switches? Is shipping included in the price?
  4. If louver is complete I'm interested also the valve cover. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.
  5. Hey 101, I've emailed a couple of times to your email address about these. Do we have a deal? I'm also interested in a couple of other parts that you have on Ebay that we might make one complete sale. Walter
  6. I talked to one of the reps at the Charlotte Autopfair in Sept. They had some tanks they had done on display. very good work. I think for the price and if you're going to have the car awhile, it's the way to go.
  7. I live in the Charlotte NC area and I'd like to get a set of Enkei 92's I picked up polished and one needs to be straightened (very minor damage) and several minor scuffs on the rim edge. Overall very good condition. Anyone have experience with a wheel company in my area? If you're in the PA area, Wheel Collision Center is top notch,(had them do a set of mesh wheels for me a number of years back) but it's over $100 to ship to them, one way.
  8. First off I apologize for asking a question within this forum, didn't see the restriction before I posted. That said, thanks for all the responses, think I going to purchase one. So, it is a direct replacement for the stock intake can w/ no other mods in that area? Thanks again.
  9. Anyone using the Cosmo open air filter intake kit they offer? Looks good from the one pic they offer. Is it better than the stock aircan w/ holes in it and a K+N?
  10. Sorry for the late response, I was away on business. I will take them. Check your email then I will Paypal the amount. Walter
  11. I'm interested, I believe I have a $60 credit w/ you from the large sale you had where I purchased the rear wing and you were out of the short shifter. If that is correct, I'll pay the additional $209 and add shipping to 28056. Thanks, Walter
  12. I'll let ya know when they get delivered
  13. Thanks a bunch for the reply. I generally try to locate this stuff before I post. I sent an email via EBAY to 101 about the part and haven't received a reply, but the block off is no longer listed. I also spoke w/ Randy and he has an order pending with his machinist, but apparently this guy is very slow or far behind in his work to make them. I live outside Charlotte NC, and with all the mills that have gone out of business, there are alot of machine shops in this area that sadly have little to no work. When things get a bit slow for me may take the valve to one of the local guys to see if he could make one up.
  14. For Brokenquest, COP actually stands for Constable On Patrol derrived from original old english law, most probably about the time of Sir Robert Peele. BTW COPS probably don't like you either.
  15. I don't have the capability for a pic right now, however, the box still has the sealing tape on the exterior and the one I opened (for myself) is still on the wrap. I have not opened the other box since it was delivered period. You can't get more N.O.S. than that.
  16. The current list price from Mitsu on this part is $386.25. RC Hill Mitsu charges$289.69 as listed on the net. There are no more available to be purchased, so you tell me why my price is out of line.
  17. I have one N.O.S. factory climate control panel. This is the part that adjusts the temp. fan etc... There are no more left @ Mitsu. selling for $300 which is my cost plus $10 plus shipping and will fit in a priority mail box.
  18. Thanks for the info on the air injection system and the HKS has no way to hold it up w/o hangers. called HKS and they are researching it. Thanks again. Walter
  19. Bought an exhaust w/ downpipe, midpipe w/ new cat and HKS rear exhaust. How do you properly disconnect the pipe going to the orig downpipe w/ precat (believe this is the EGR? )It goes to the knockbox. There is no provision for this pipe in the new downpipe. Also,I have a new HKS system and seem to be missing two mounting brackets (hangers) which bolt to the threaded flanges welded to the pipe and muffler. Anyone w/ a HKS system have an idea what I need? I've tried to call the vendor and HKS but no response as yet. If this is going to be a long drawn out process I'll reassemble the car w/ the factory system. Thanks Much! Walter
  20. Looking for an EGR block off plate for my 87 Conquest. I tried 101 on Ebay but auction was closed. Anyone offer one that would ship quickly? Thanks
  21. WOW! What a beauty. It also brings back memories. I worked part time back when this car was new at a Mitsu dealer doing new car prep and pinstripes. I totally remember prepping cars in this color scheme. Boy, if I had the $$$....
  22. I ahe an interest in a set as well depending on the price
  23. When you're looking at an old car this fresh it very well could be three words
