Another silly question, do I have to drain fluids (oil/coolant) before taking off intake??
-
Thanks, I'll get on it. Need this thing on the road!

I bought this Starion with MPI last year and have been taking my sweet time getting it on the road. I am new to the game and since this is not a factory install, there is a lot I don't know about the engine. Noticed there is an oil leak coming from my intake manifold gasket. What gasket do I need? I believe this MPI is a Magna but has been powder coated black. Magna intake gasket? Thanks

You missed something, says $3500 in post... -
For anyone in the Omaha, Ne area, there is a white 89 Quest, 5 spd, sunroof, ad says 47k miles, maroon interior of course. The seats have a few worn out spots on them and the shifter knob and boot need replaced. I didn't get a chance to drive it since the place was closed. The air dam is cracked and it does have some rust which seems to be minor for this area. No holes in the rear quarters but its starting, the front fenders looked fine. Not sure if SHP but did have p225s in the back...guessing not then...The place selling it is called Sports and Imports, 402-390-0500 and they are asking $2950...Definitely worth saving this one, but will need a lot of work. Good luck!

Dude, I miss that place. I lived there from 75-83 when my dad was in the Air Force. My wife has a lot of family there; Eva Beach, Kailua, Waipahu...Yeah, sucks being stateside...

Wow, enough counseling already. How am I going to buy this car if you all are trying to talk him out of it? :hmm3grin2orange: Yeah, he isn't providing pics, so no sale!

I know you say the paint is good and the rockers have rust, but did the rear quarters/lower front fenders have rust that was repaired at one time? If you don't know, have you tried putting a magnet on those areas? Thanks, marc

Any rust on the body aside from that one pic? Particularly rear quarters, front fenders, and rockers.
