a 355 IS a stroker :wink: no, a 355 is a 350 bored .030. the kit that im looking at is a scat setup, forged crank, forged rods, and forged pistons, all for about 1k. comes with rings, bearings, and gaskets/seals. im having a hard time finding a stock stroke forged crank. besides, the 364 kit is only like .010 to .020 over stock stroke, cant rember. its pretty small. talked to the guy from scat, he told me if i balance internaly, and run the right kind of valve train, i should be able to see 7500-8000 rpm's reliably.

if red89conquesttsi (my little bro) can do it, anyone can!!!!lol, just jokin. but their pretty easy. if it was me, get a 64 block, 63 head and combine with forged pistons, and rods. that way you have a 2.4 instead of a 2.0. the options for trannys are about endless. i know a guy who is putting a t56 tranny and a 4g into a kit car. so you can even have a 6spd.

might be, but if i move the center part of the crossmember forward 2 inches, their will be more room for the 240 rack, and a better angle for the stearing shaft. will be going to a jy to get a pan this weekend.

i prob will do a cutout for the center link, if that doesnt work, i will modify the pickup tube and make it a front sump with baffles and check flaps.

i hope you didnt out bid me on the tpi setup, i would be so upset if you did :evil: :evil: jus kidin. but i was planning on trying out a mega squirt system if i ever get done reading all of the frikin info gotta wait till i get taxes back before i can start on the "real motor" that is going into it. the 400 is just temperary. the real one is either going to be a twin turbo 362 stroker, or a 383 stroker. just dont know if i can find a manual 5spd tranny that will hold all of that torque. from the math, it should be about 550-600hp and 600-650ft lbs tq. thats if i dont screw anything up building the motor. the kawi, came out of a 500 ninja, and we are thinking off putting it in a golf cart. with the turbo and a draw through carb. should be 80-85 hp we think. should do wheelies on the golf course!!!!!! :twisted:

i have a 87 flatty i can pick up, then trade you. it needs alot of work, but sounds like a wrecked honda would to.

found a 79 chevy truck with a 400 in it for a 1000, will be buying that for the engine. will be alot cheeper, and that way i can take my time building my 350 for more power :twisted: will post more pics when i pull the 400 out.
