Civic center, jolly rodger, and theres another lot north of civic center. Cant remember the name at the moment. Jolly rodger is hit or miss sometimes theres people there usually its pretty empty. Theres always a bunch up at civic center but they shut the lights off in the lot. The other lot is pretty good. During h2oi the vw guys were having a burnout contest there till the cops showed up.

That was my fault I took the hood latch out to put in my dads and I forgot to tie the hood down. There was a really bad windstorm that blew the hood up and screwed up the cowl and hinges.

No maf translators output a frequency based signal not a voltage one iirc. Have you looked at a chipped ecu? Thats the only simple way to tune them.

If its dirty a few guys have changed to oil to atf then let it sit and idle for alittle to clean it out. Don't drive or run it at high rpms with atf in it though. I forgot that you can use 99 miata solid lifters too but you still need to regrind the cams.

Its possible to use zetec tappets in place of the HLAs but you need to have your cams reground to use them. Is the motor sludged or has it been sitting awhile?

Now me and the mad scientist are going to have to pull apart the block and replace the piston rings you fried.

Any plans for a adapter for a manual trans in the future? Just wondering since ill hopefully be starting a 6g72 swap in a few months.

Get the 2.4 and turbo it. A friend of mine had one that ran low 13s on a stock block. Kept blowing differentials though.

How bad is the rust?

Whenever I run it through a gear and shift hard itll start missing part way through the next gear. If I take my time and dont shift fast its fine.

hmmm 2hr 40min from here. Might come up if I have time/money.

Was this the one in eden?

You have to fab all new motor mounts to use the bp and g series trans. Wiring for the bp is identical to the stock b3 just need run a extra wire for the variable intake manifold runners iirc.
