Indiana
Dowel pin hole almost to top. If you look at the center of the cam bolt and that dowel pin hole and follow it out to the teeth now look at the two holes in the cam tower caps for the valve cover and extend that out to the cam gear. The cam gear line can't be past the valve cover line. The cam gear line will be half tooth in front of the valve cover line. Crank pulley mark lined up with TDC mark on the timing cover. Indiana
This won't work with milled surfaces, it may be off and the more milling done the more it will be off and the cam gear is moved more clockwise as that happens. Stock surfaces lining it up that way works.
