have to dig through 2 hours of post in the electrical section, i don't dare start a new topic and get yelled at by burton or someone.

 

 

 

What's that supposed to mean? That's what that forum is for, so why wouldn't you? I don't really know much about engine management wiring and such, just mostly audio, so I likely wouldn't even reply to it. I don't like to post on stuff unless I know I can be a help and not mislead people, since this is a little out of what I mess with, I would really have no input and let people who were 100% sure about the issues give you advice.

as for a small update, its pretty much done, need to get the registration part done, but just been saving money since its going to be 480 bucks, the prev owner never non-op'd it and yeah been 5 years. Its insured, that was easy. need to find a way to mount the front sway-bar, thinking of making it longer in the front.

i hate the bouncy coil overs, looking for some 700- 800 springs. im sure the ones from artnist kit were only 400lb ?

some tunning, and then log miles to make sure everything is good, maybe take a drive to see Thegremlin ( brian ) or scotty and all the guys around there.

 

waiting on getting paid.

WHEW had me worried, that guys in JAPAN!!

and its auto. and its all stock ecu trans etc.

 

I think im still the only guys stateside with 1UZ starion, 5spd.

 

the v-eight.com guys love it.

 

JustPPPPaus post tha video months back, it was cool to see the diff aspect of it.

browse through, call the guy hes pretty cool to talk to, fair prices, alot of guys locally use him. in Sac though

drove it home from my friends tonight, 11.8 miles of OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG...OMG

lots of cleaning and stuff to do.it flippin loud still.

think the speedo is off, but meh i have a GPS. might invest in this

whatchu think of the muff? it came out ok i guess.

if i was baller tail rich, id start over from the headers and go 2 into 1 (2.5" x 2 int 3") mufflwer under the car, then pipe back to a singe 3" muffler.

 

Yes its ....semi loud, but not like harley davidson loud. i dunno im 50/50. im good on what it is right now

If it were me I would have recentered the gas tank and run a true dual exhaust...You have one of the highest reving v8's ever........ I say use it..This isn't lumpy merican v8 with a redline of 6k you got 10k buddy.........

111db at 20 feet, but its 70db at idle... lol

yeah i will be able to hear no prob. its teh people behind me im wondering about.

actually i have its at 9k limiter right now, havnt even seen over 7500 yet.

I can't believe I didn't think of this thread until now, while discussing manual transmission options for an LS400 drift car some buddies and I are building. I may have to pick your brain for the adapter plate and clutch ideas.

 

Hat's off to you for the swap. Sounds great, looks great, seems like it functions great as well.

its on the road, going out driving later when its cooler. Forgot what it was like to drive a RWD car, too used to the WRX so i uh..spun out a lil. just did a 180 nothing big, nobody saw. :unsure:

small things to work on, mount some safety gauges , need a radio ( not like you can really hear but...) stock seats might get re upholstered we will see what he charges. i think my dad offered to pay for it just because hes as amped as i am.

stock interior, all the seats, carpet, controls, has a heater, and the ac condensor, its all factory inside.

the 1UZ complete with w58 trans comes in at 394 lbs. i do have power steering. no A/C compressor

car has 1/2 a tank in it

 

pretty much bone stock, i mean it has new factory replacement parts ans such, but it has not had things removed for the sole purpose of being light.

 

just want a stock car with a V-8 ^_^

Nice dude. That gives me hope to get to my target weight... maybe a little less. My engine/ trans weighs some where around 500-525... But I have nothing else in the car...lol Good stuff for sure.

i think 2800 for you would be heavy.

 

im EXPECTING you to be at 2551 and 12oz. !!!!! ^_^
