Note to self (since I own a DSM): Never.. ever.. remove timing cover. No matter what.

 

I will NEVER understand why every kid with a honda/eclipse/etc thinks it's "sooo tyte/wicked jdm/etc" ALL you do is open yourself up for failure

good point might aswell leave the valve cover off too..

 

The clear cover I like that way you can keep n eye on the belt wear..

I've seen so many DSM's with them timing covers off, including my niece with her '96 GST. So I ran to Pick Your Part and got her a cover, got lucky and found one almost spanking new. I'd hate to see her catch her hair on that thing!!

 

But that dude in the link is halarious! At least he man's up though and admits he "epic failed" himself.
