good lord man the time it took to bolt that contraption to the engine you could have had it out ,,slight bit of over kill wouldn't you say

Did I miss something? What contraption? looks like a standard engine leveler to me.

engine leveler ?? for a 200 lb engine block hehe

tip you do not want to lift nor install the engine level ;)

I use one every time. Doing it by myself it helps to clock the engine correctly for alignment with the trans.

haha

it worked, it was cold, we were just happy to have it out, the leveler came in handy, as the block still had some coolant in it, and the tranny was still in the car.

Made it easier, in my mind, to get it out and off the tranny with the car pitched at the angle it was

HEY LOOK:

(that pic is about 4 years old from the LeMans race at MidOhio, and I was a little thicker at that point in time)

off topic but oh well,, you guys do know the block has a block drain on the pass side rear

real handy to remove coolant when doing a head gasket or engine pull ,

Yes, we used it once the motor was out, so we didn't get coolant ALL OVER THE PLACE, in a rented garage
