protegechris
I am supposed to tow my Star home tomorrow morning. The trailer I have is 6 feet wide, that's a mere 72 inches. I already know it's going to be a tight fit and require some attention to loading.. but is 72" even wide enough to hold the ESI-R starion? There's a wider trailer on the left, but it's older and lacks ramps.. aside from not being legal on the road. xD
JustPaus_88TSi
SQ's are 68.3" with stock non-shp rims/tires.
protegechris
Do you possibly know if that 68.3 inches is at the very widest point of the body or at the front or rear end? It's going to be a hell of a squeeze.
JustPaus_88TSi
According to the FSM, the 68.3" is for the widest point of the fenders. Obviously, the side mirrors would stick out further than this, but your trailer isn't enclosed so it shouldn't matter.
protegechris
Thanks for the information! Looks like it might actually make it! Pictures to come, for sure!

protegechris
It actually was GOING to fit aside from a clearance issue. I'm going to continue my adventures in my thread in the random BS forum.. long story short, I got another trailer. http://youtube.com/watch?v=_v2Ehoj_8v0 Made a video of the epic failure. :[

89PalermoSHP
Just climb out the window to get in and out. X2... the only issue I had was opening the door once it was on the trailer and with the look of your trailer you will too.
protegechris
Whats the sound track? They kinda have a Kool Keith sound or should I say style. The band is called Flobots. We hooked up a new battery and everything to roll down the driver's window.. but we really just ran out of time for trying. I'm going back with less of a time limit in the morning with the bigger trailer.
