Hi all,

I drive this car every day. I was told it was an ex-ice racer from Vancouver, BC when the lakes froze over. Has brand new 'ice racing' tires on it, really interesting tread. 1983 633CSI, inline 6cyl, 5sp manual. Chirps gears and will really peel those tires especially going around corners. No, I don't drive it hard, infact the car is too fast for me to be a daily driver and that is one of the reasons I have to sell it, the other reason is I've run out of space.

Blue book on these cars is $8000 good, $4500 poor!

Starts up, runs, drives, stops just fine. It doesn't need anything to function as a daily driver, atleast to my standards. Like I said I'm driving it now.

Features: 5sp manual, rare. SCHEEL MANN special Tan leather front racing seats and AC Snitzer aluminum racing pedals, these were both FACTORY dealer options. Power everything, even the rear windows and sunroof. Hood opens opposite of most cars. BBS Mesh BMW wheels.

Problems: The car has 149k miles, a common problem with these cars is if you press the trip odometer reset button while the car is in motion it will snap a plastic clip inside the spedometer and render it not working. I of course pressed this as soon as I left the BMW and guess what, it broke. I was told clip was $4 from the dealer, but its the hassle of pulling the gauge cluster out. Has some body rust as you can see in the pictures, with the worst being the passenger rear wheel well. All is repairable and I don't see anything that effects the structurality of the car. The car has two mufflers, one large nice one exits in the middle of the rear of the car with two nice tips. The other one is before that one and has a hole in it, so it is a small bit loud, not extremely loud but definitely could use a patch/replace. The passenger front window operates when it wants to. I believe the switch is dirty/corroded and sometimes works sometimes does not. There is NO radio or rear speakers (and covers) previous owner took them. No spare or jack or two small carpet panels for trunk. Drivers seat has 2 small tears on the inside that aren't too noticable but are there. The rubber front bumper pads are just loose, not hanging or bent! Bumpers are great!

Sums it up: Basically, some rust repair, paint job, basic-cleanup, a radio and speakers, $4 plastic clip, and a patch on the muffler and its a $6-8k car.

Clear title, ready to drive away. Passed PA Inspection in 2006. Car does not leak anything. The driveway stain underneath car is NOT from this car. It was from an old truck.

Car drives great, get in it and go. You can fix the radio, spedo clip, rust, paint, muffler and speakers as you go. Needs nothing to be daily driver/winter beater. Heck these seats would look awesome in a sq.
