FlattopMike
I already own a flatty so I want a widebody. My 83 has more personallity but I do like the looks of the widebody better.
jahjah
After having a wide body i'd really like a flatty this time around
Dred_85.5_TSI
Hi, I voted for a flatty but specifically the 85.5, I can't justify the extra weight of the widebody on looks alone. Edited May 16, 2008 by Dred_85.5_TSI

Loye
I hear it's possible to make a flatty fast, maybe not. I've owned several wide bodies so I'd rather my next one be a flatty.

Flatty all the way. I like the looks of the widebodies though but i like my 84 just fine:)

Loye
My point was that a fast wide body is still kind of slow, not that flatties can't be fast.

Shelby
i think the rear wheel is off the ground cause he just ran over a cone
AndyW
lol, that cone did stand back up tho so no time was taken off! The car is very nimble and fun to drive, its actualy quit different from my green car, alot more different than I expected.
shift1313
i didnt know you got a flatty andy, sweet. Did you swap the steering box on it? i get some fade when i go through a slalom and the ratio could use a kick in the pants. but i see yours looks like an 87 so its probably got a better ratio than my 84 anyways. can you elaborate on the difference on the track? Alcyone
yeah I want to know too. I am imagining it has less grip... but probably not really.
starion1991
I gotta admit, flattys are good looking, but they look way better with some widebody rims and some body/paint mods
AndyW
I'v had this car for almost 3 years lol. It has less grip only because I cant fit my 265's under the rear (I tryed) But thats mainly because it just dosnt put down the power my green one does either. (my comparison) But it definitly does not do to bad with the 205/55 Potenzas. But like shift 1313 stated the main downfall is the slower steering responce but if you never drove a widebody you prolly would not even notice. Its a realy fun car to drive and I still ended up 2nd in Streetmod with it but my times were 2-3 seconds slower than my green car. I'v gotten spoiled with the extra power of my green one to pull me out of the corners lol. But the car is just as predictable as a WB which is why I LOVE autoxing these cars. I work best for tight corners by setting the car out of balance to help me swing it thru, plut it always add style points for the crown lol.
