needsq
My departure date has changed, and I am now leaving on the 25th of this month. 5spd 10686X Black Leather(there is a tear in the driver side bolster) Clean Title Aftermarket Sunroof SHP car, polished wheels Stock bottom end, new gaskets BSE Stock Cam Marnal Head w/heavy duty springs, ss valves, ARP head studs Exhaust manifold stress relieved and coated with POR-20 Magna Intake, Ford 65mm TB Racetronix 65lbs. I love the car but I am PCS to Japan on the 28th of this month for two year, and will not be able to give the car the time or money that the car needs. One of the rear control arms is bad because there is some movement when you step on the gas. The AC compressor is in the trunk. The magnets for the SDS should be better installed so there is another pulley in the trunk to do it. I was in the process of changing the radio and relocating the AC controls so the center console is just sitting in the car. Everything else except for the cruise works. The temp gauge on the dash worked before the car was fixed so I think there is an unplugged wire somewhere. I will get some more pics posted. If you are near by feel free to come by and check it out. If you have any questions email me or call me (757)846-4469 sorry it is about to rain outside so some photos are dark http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t72/blueace_911/IMG_0003.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t72/blueace_911/IMG_0002.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t72/blueace_911/Cars017.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t72/blueace_911/Cars016.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t72/blueace_911/Cars018.jpg Edited April 24, 2008 by needsq

Xtreme Industries
could it just be the rear suspension bushings or is it in fact the control arm? is she fully tuned and ready to run? is the ac control panel still hooked up and fully functional? do you still have all the screws to remount the console? are you able to fix the temp guage before you sell - you would know which wire it is better then someone else who doesnt know your set up. more pics please any rust / damage? needsq
It could be the bushings but Scotty said it feels like the control arm. It has a rough tune on it because I dont have a wideband or a dyno. The ac control is still hooked up with the harness extended. All the screws are in the arm rest. I will see if I can find that wire for the temp gauge. There are some dimples on the passenger side, and the dreaded crack in the air dam on the side. I will try and show it in a picture. Other than those spots thats it.
Brando_B
Is this car ready to be driven daily and also is the VA state inspection up to date. Thanks, Brando
needsq
Yeah you can drive it daily. I drove it from Chesterfield to Woodbridge about 100 miles. It didn't even take half a tank of gas. VA inspection is good until next year. Inspection pink sheet is in the center console.

Goddard
I don't think you would want to do this but would you be interested in selling the engine? I would need the engine complete with intercooler and piping. I wouldn't need the downpipe. I wouldn't necessarily need the msd and sds as I could go with some other fuel management. You could keep whatever sensors go with it including the main pulley with magnets along with keeping the wiring intact (I would need your spare pulley). I wouldn't need the trans. but would need the flywheel and clutch setup. I could give you the bare block in my car to keep the trans in place. I would also need the radiator but don't need the fans or sensors. I need a shifter but I could understand why you would want to keep it in place so I could get one from a friend or Ebay. I'd buy the whole car but don't have that much money available to me right now. I only have about 2K and that's pushing it. I'd really like to get my car going since I haven't been able to sell it and I really don't want to go back to the stock injection. I have the means to pull it carefully and have a truck. Looks like I'm about 2 hours from you. I'm sure you want to sell whole but figured I'd ask anyway. Here's why (my car for sale page) - Mike's 89 roller If you're interested, I'd like to swing by and take a look this weekend.
needsq
sorry man but I need to get the whole car sold. Selling just the engine would give me more problems to deal with.

powerline84
I bought this car right before i deployed in May. It has been sitting in my work parking lot since i deployed. I love the car but i bought a 1970 chevy c-10 that i would rather invest my money into....cant afford 2 toys lol. Anyways the car is registered and now has a clean title in my name. It still needs to be tuned.(runs ruff without the tune so i would only drive it home and then to be tuned). I only put about 50 miles on the car once i bought it and then parked it. I payed $3700.00 for it 3 months ago. I will Let it go for $3000.00. battery is more then likely dead and since i am deployed i will need to Relay info to My coworker Jared if anyone is interested in the car to escort you on base to see it. Since i am deloyed if you have anyquestions or are interested, please email me at jimmyintaji@yahoo.com
